Willis D. Mathes

Willis D. Mathes, age 54, of East Carondelet, IL, born on December 19, 1963 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Touchette Regional Hospital, Centreville, IL.

Willis loved camping, fishing, the outdoors and spending time with his grandson, KeiLyn.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Mathes; his father, John Mathes; and his brother, Rodney Mathes.

Willis is survived by his children, Chellee Mathes and Daniel Mayfield; his grandchildren, Paisley and Draiden Mayfield and KeiLyn Bownes; his mother Marcia (Larry) Toler; his brother, Dale Mathes; his nieces and nephews, Rodney, Haley, Ceiley, Samantha, Sierra and Carol; and his aunt, Myra (Sheri) Quick.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Guiding Light Ministries, 118 N. 8th St., East Carondelet, IL  62240.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Guiding Light Ministries, 118 N. 8th St., East Carondelet, IL with Pastor Allie McKnight officiating. Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
