Victoria Owca

Victoria Owca, age 93, of Belleville, IL, born on December 18, 1927, in St. Louis, MO, died on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at The Dammert Center, Belleville, IL.

Victoria was a assembler at Bussmann Fuse in St. Louis, Missouri for 39 years.  She was a member of PALS Club, Polish American War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary and the Altar Sodality of St. Augustine of Canterbury Church, Belleville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Edward Owca; her parents, Paul and Agnes, nee Salwa Stochla; and her siblings, Joseph Stochla, Marie Mutter, Stella Poznanski, Ann Synos, Frank Stochla, and Genevieve “Penny” Passalacqua.

Victoria is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Augustine of Canterbury Church in the form of masses.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

A procession will leave the mortuary at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church, Belleville, IL with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.  Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
