Tyler M. Marler, age 31, of O’Fallon, IL, born on October 27, 1990, in Belleville, Il. passed away on January 18, 2022, at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
Tyler was a graduate from O’Fallon Township High School, where he was a standout soccer player. He idolized his older brother Ryan, and followed in his footsteps by becoming a lifelong Cubs and Blues fan. Tyler would often brag to everyone about his nieces and nephews, Benjamin and Miles Marler, and Kendall and Cameron Denny. He had a contagious laugh, was strikingly handsome, funny, personable, and he always had a big smile on his face. He was a gentle and kind soul who loved animals, and never struggled making friends wherever he went. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin, and brother-in-law. Tyler has touched so many people throughout his short life, and will always be missed by everyone that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Julie, nee Schmitz, Marler and brother, Ryan Marler.
Surviving is his father, Tony D.( Jennifer) Marler; his sister, Lindsay (Patrick) Denny; grandmothers, Fran Schmitz and Barbara Marler; sister-in-law, Laura Marler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Private family visitation will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.
Private funeral services will be on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 7:00 PM at Kassly Mortuary Chapel, Fairview Heights, IL.
