Theodore Brown, Sr.

Theodore Brown, born October 13, 1946 to union with Fred Brown, Sr, and Carrie Covington (Brown), Theodore Brown confessed to God at an early age.

Theodore Brown was born in East St. Louis, IL and attended East St. Louis Public Schools where he ran track for several years.  He later continued his education at State Community College where he met his beloved wife, Janice Marie Hall, Brown.  Later, they had two children, Theodore Brown, II and Tina Marie Brown.  They were married for 39 years until God called Theodore home.

Theodore Brown was employed at Gaths Lighting for 28 years and then retired.  Mr. Brown played chess, was a lover of jazz and was semi-pro in tennis.  Mr. Brown will surely be missed.

Mr. Theodore Brown leaves to cherish in his memory his loving wife, Janice Brown, his 2 children, Theodore Brown, II and Tina Marie Brown; his 3 living brothers, Richard Emerson, Fred Brown, and Clarence Brown; deceased, Adell Emerson, Bernard Emerson, and Jessie Brown; 2 sisters, Sharimae Robinson and Alphosia Black; a host of nieces and nephews; and his aunt, Katie A. Marrow.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL.

Memorial service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary Chapel, Fairview Heights, IL.
