Lloyd "Jerry" Perez

Lloyd “Jerry” Perez, age 87, of Naples, FL, formerly of Swansea, IL, born on February 11, 1934, in East St. Louis, IL, died on September 24, 2021.

Jerry was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in East St. Louis, IL, and was a Lineman Supervisor for Ameren Illinois Electric.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline “Jackie” Perez; and his son, Jerry Perez, Jr; his granddaughter, Tommie Thoebald; his sister, JoAnn Baker; his brothers-in-law, Rich Soehnlin and Edwin Grondzki; and his sister-in-law, Dolores Baker.

Jerry is survived by his children, Tom (Laurie) Perez, of Dunedin, FL, and Patti (Jeff) Theobald of Naples, FL; his grandchildren, Meegan, Lindsey, Jeff, Jr., Thomas, Olivia, Graham, and Madeline; 11 great-grandchildren; his brother, Cobby (Carol) Perez; and his sister-in-law, Helen Soehnlin.

Memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.

Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL, with Fr. James Voelker officiating.  Burial of cremated remains will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
