Linda F. Hernandez

Linda F. Hernandez, age 76, of St. Louis, MO, born on May 16, 1947, in Davenport, IA, died on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at her home with her family by her side.

Cooking and baking for the family were some of Linda’s favorite family traditions.  She also loved fishing, old westerns and collecting antiques.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Nydegger; her parents, Dionisio and Alberta, nee Soto Morales; and her sister, Helen Hernandez.

Linda is survived by her husband, Alberto Hernandez; her children, Suzanne (Joe) Bertrang, Annette Hernandez (Sam Vasquez), Daniel Nydegger, and Veronica (Daniel) Gabriel; her grandchildren, Isaiah, Joshua, Kyleigh, Reneezmay, David, Selena, Armando, Adriana, Sonia and Javier; her great-grandchildren, Ariana, Elena, and Eli; and her siblings, Eugene (Tina) Morales, Judy (Jose) Goddard, and Kitty Noland.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.  Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
