James P Twardoski

James P. Twardoski, age 72, of Columbia, IL, died on Monday, October 11, 2021, at his residence.

James worked as an Executive Banker and retired from Mercantile and Bank of America after 40 years. He was an avid sportsman, loved the St. Louis Cardinals Football and Baseball teams, played softball, and liked to bowl. James cut a record when he was young “The Streak”.  He liked his cats and dog and liked to garden.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Pauline, nee Majkut, Twardoski; his 3 brothers, Joseph “Sonny” Twardoski, Paul J. Twardoski and Bobby Twardoski; his brothers-in-law, Frank Frawley, Lee "Buddy" McNatt, Joe Willyerd and Jess Henson; a niece, Debbie Henson; and his nephews, Paul John "Moochie" McNatt and Kyle Sherrill.

Surviving are his sisters and brother, Irene Henson of Lakewood, CA, Dorothy Frawley of Belleville, IL, Judy Willyerd of New Baden, IL Barbara McNatt of Fairmont City, IL and Richard Twardoski of Okawville, IL; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 18, 2021, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.  

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 18, 2021, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL with Msgr. William McGhee officiating.

Family will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL, and will leave in procession at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service at Mt Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
