Elizabeth Duley

Elizabeth Joyce Duley, age 74, of Troy, IL, born on December 15, 1947, in East St. Louis, IL died on January 6, 2022, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Il.

Elizabeth worked as a dispatcher for Fairmont City Police Department. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW in Washington Park, IL and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fairmont City, IL.

 Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents Orville M. and Edna V., nee Cory, Gansert; two grandsons, Joshua Oakley and Allen Cantrell; her brother who died when he was little, Robert Gansert; and a sister, Jeanette L, Gansert.

She is survived her daughter, Elizabeth “Beth” (Bret) Watkins of Highland, IL; grandsons, Chance Watkins, Elli Rae Watkins and Colton Watkins; great grandson, Joshua Oakley Jr; sister, Linda (Duke) Hinrichs; her nieces, Ashley (Malcolm) Keegan and Andrea (Darren) Liefer; and her nephew, Dean Hinrichs. She is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.

Memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Robert Parker officiating, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.
