Delores Jones

Delores Ann Jones, nee Walker, age 83, of Swansea IL, formerly of Marion IL, born on August 22, 1937 in Marion IL, died on Friday, January 1, 2021 at Mercy Rehab and Care Center, Swansea, IL.

Delores owned and operated a dog grooming business from her home for many years. She was a loving mom and granny, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, drawing, and crochet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Eva, nee Holderfield, Walker; her daughter, Andrea Emery; her great-grandson, Jonathan B. Cook; and 5 brothers and sisters, Dorothy Hart, Dean Walker, Evelyn Perry, Yvonne Walker, and Vernon Walker; and her former husband, Andrew Jones.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Kevin) Arnold, and April McGee, both of Swansea, IL; her grandchildren, Holly Emery, Jeff (Lisa) Emery, Randy (Alicia) Cook Jr., Joshua (Amanda) Cook, and Autumn Redden; 10 great-grandchildren Gayla, Drew, Eli, Tyler, Summer, Olivia, Dylan, Lauren, Madi and Will; her stepchildren, Charlotte Watts and Steve Jones, both of Naples, FL; her son-in-law, Lindell Emery of Marion, IL; her sister-in-law, Brenda Walker of Marion, IL; and her brother in-law, Jim (Norma) Jones, of Belleville, IL.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Marion, IL.
