Bettie Jo Maxwell, age 73, of Belleville, IL, born on Mary 13, 1949, in Wilderness, MO, died on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Bria of Mascoutah, Mascoutah, IL.
Bettie was a caregiver at Home Instead Senior Care, Fairview Heights, IL for many years. She was a loving wife and sister, and we will miss her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Rosetta, nee Pope Neal.
Bettie is survived by her husband, David Lee Maxwell of 22 years; her siblings, Danny (Karen) Neal of High Ridge, MO, Rita (Marvin) Wright of Freamount, MO, Susie Neal of Freamount, MO, Faye (Charles) Butler of Naylor, MO, and Sammy Neal of Eastwood, MO; several loving nieces, and nephews; her sister-in-law; and her two kitties, Addison and Asher Jo.
Bettie’s family will have a private committal service at a later date.
