Anthony J. Hurd

Anthony John Hurd, devoted son to his mother, Theresa Tannehill, and father, Glenn Tannehill Sr., has risen to the heavens, to fly with angels and to embrace his beloved mother, in the loving arms of the Lord.  Anthony was a quiet and peaceful man who was generous to all, with a smile that warmed hearts.  He adored, and will always be adored by, his nephews Conor and Ethen.  He loved his father, Glenn Sr., dearest Aunt Veronica, brother Glenn Jr., sister-in-law Dorthe, and all his family.

Anthony is survived by his beloved father, Glenn Tannehill Sr., his brother Glenn Jr., sister-in-law Dorthe, beloved aunts Veronica, Elizabeth, and Millie, nephews Conor and Ethen, and many beloved cousins and family in England, Ireland, and America.

Anthony was born in England, came to America and served proudly as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force.  He lived life wishing for peace, joy, and happiness for all he knew, and will forever be missed by those he leaves behind. Anthony will forever live on in their memories and will shine down upon them with the warmth of heaven's grace and love.

A private graveside service, with military honors, will be at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA.
