Alexander G. Longos

Alexander G. Longos, age 53, of Granite City, IL, born on August 25, 1968, died on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at his residence.

Alex was a cashier at Kohl’s and enjoyed being social.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Fr. George and Presbytera Julia, nee Xanthakis Longos; and his brother who he adored, John Longos.

Alex is survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 405 Huntwood Rd., Swansea, IL  62226, with Fr. Achilles Karathanos officiating.  Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
