Joyce E. (Knefelkamp) Young

Joyce E. Young, nee Knefelkamp, age 64, of Belleville, IL born March 12, 1954 in East St. Louis, IL died on Friday, July 6, 2018 after a battle with cancer.

Mrs. Young received her Bachelors in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.  She worked for 10 years as an office receptionist at Coram Infusions, St. Louis, MO.  Joyce was a proud member of the Saturday Morning Breakfast Club. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Bernadette, nee League, Knefelkamp; and her sister, Jeannette Orr.

Surviving are her husband, George H. Young; her two children, Mark (Chloe) Young of Swansea, IL and Kelly (Steven) Priddy of Shiloh, IL; her three grandchildren, Seth, Darcie, and Ryan; her brother-in-law, Tom Orr of Peoria, IL; and her beloved grand dog, Peanut. 

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.  

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 1:30 P.M. at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL with Fr. Nick Junker officiating.  Cremation will follow the funeral services.
