Jeffrey W. Cranford, age 38 of O’Fallon, IL born October 17, 1979 in Belleville, IL, died on February 12, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
Jeffrey was a graduate of O’Fallon High School. He worked as a driver for Pepsi in St. Louis, Mo and previously worked at Fox River Foods. He belonged to Drop Mob Car Club. Jeffrey was a great artist. He received a scholarship in 1996 and won an art contest for the St. Louis Rams yearbook cover.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harley and Earline Cranford; his maternal grandparents, Commodore and Mona Cox; his aunt, Ida Dunn; and his cousins, Debbie Dunn, Tammy Medley, Jason Dunn, Marvin (Bonnie) Ogden, and Richard Blevins.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal R. Cranford, nee Houston; a son, Jacob Daniel Cranford; his father, James Cranford of Granite City, IL; his mother and step-father, Diana (Ron) Trigg of Collinsville, IL; his siblings, Natalia Trigg (Henry Gaston) of Collinsville, IL, James Thomas Cranford of Granite City, IL, Shannon (Mike) Strong of Collinsville, IL and Casey (Rick) Voss of Granite City, IL; his sisters-in-law, Mary (Robert) Sharpe, Jacqueline, Anne, Megan, and Lauralee Houston; his in-laws, Glenn (Sherry) Williams of Belleville, IL and Charles (Mary) Houston of NC; his aunt, Brenda Groaning; his cousins, Chris, Christine (Ben) Sweeney, Matthew (Tenny), Sandy, Veronica, Harold (Frances), and Steven, Donald (Barb) Scheck, Jim Ogden and Beverly Blevins; and his nieces and nephews, Penelope, Brianna, Raina, Shawn, Gabriel, Lillian, Caleb, Cristi Anne, Camden, Cassidy, Corian and Skyler.
If you learn anything from Jeff Cranford, learn this, love each other unconditionally, truly and deeply mean everything you do, care for someone who cannot repay you, laugh A LOT, make music a part of your life and see the good in all people. This is how you will honor him.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, IL.
