Edith M. Rokita

Edith M. Rokita, age 81, of Hollister, MO, born on August 14, 1937 in Three Rivers, TX, died on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Edith had different occupations including private nursing for 9 years, a real estate agent for 5 years in Tucson, AZ and the owner/operator of Today’s Dolls in Branson MO for 10 years. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Rokita, Jr.; her son, James Rokita; and her parents, John G. and Mozell (nee Sylvester) McHazlett.

Edith is survived by her daughter, Vicky (David) Whitaker; her grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Melissa and Bubba; her great-grandchildren, Lennon and Waldon; and her siblings, Margaret, Judy, Patric and Wanda.  She was a beloved aunt.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL with Father Matt Elie officiating.  Burial of cremated remains will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
