Yolanda C. Walling

Yolanda “Lolli” Walling, nee Torrez, age 68, of Fairmont City, IL, born on February 6, 1953, in East St Louis, IL, died on Monday, June 7, 2021, at Cox Medical Center, Branson, MO.

Lolli had spent her whole life helping others anyway she could. She lit up the room and brought joy to everyone she came across. She was an avid bowler and traveled across the Midwest bowling in tournaments every year. Lolli enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She had a passion for wildlife and wildlife photography. From eagle watching to feeding the 40 plus hummingbirds in her backyard. She was an amazing person and will be greatly missed. 

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Donald J. Walling; her parents, Esequiel and Marcella, nee Fuentes Torrez, Sr; and her brother, Mike Torrez.

Yolanda is survived by her husband, David J. Kicielinski; her children, Sean Walling of Litchfield, IL, Kelly (Kevin) Willumat of Granite City, IL, Erica (Bob) Madewell of Granite City, IL, and Michael (Emily) Kicielinski of Troy, IL; her grandchildren, Jacob Walling, Alaina Madewell, Alex Madewell, Andrew Hart, Dakota Walling, Madison Hyden, Hayley Walling, Maris Madewell, and Jace Walling; her great-grandchildren, Zaydin Barnes, Ellie Madewell, Phenix Shepard and Xena Shepard; and her siblings, Esequiel Torrez, JR., Fred Torrez, Louis Torrez, Pearl Ambrose, and Christine Foster. Yolanda is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL with Rev. Bud Vickery officiating.  Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, IL.
