William "Bill" Steele

William “Bill” S. Steele, age 85, of Belleville, IL, born on March 11, 1935 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at his residence.

Bill retired as a custodian who worked at different hospitals and schools in the Metro East area.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Roy M. and Mary A. Steele, nee Patillo; 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Steele, nee Roof; his children, John, Tony, Mary, and Kellie; his step-children, Steve and Paul; 5 grandchildren

Memorials may be made to Cerebral Palsy of Southwestern Illinois.
