Victoria M. Arambula

Victoria M. Arambula, age 96, Prairieville, LA, formerly of Fairmont City, IL, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 in Gonzales, Louisiana.  

Victoria was known for her gracious spirit and loving nature.  Her life was a testament to the love and dedication she had for her family and all those who knew her. Victoria's legacy of warmth and kindness will be cherished and remembered by her family and friends. 

Our deepest thanks to the staff of Ascension Oaks and Hospice of Baton Rouge for their wonderful care of our mom.  Also, I would like to recognize my daughter, Christy, and granddaughter, Gabbie, for filling in for me during my 8-week surgery recovery.

She is survived by her children, Phyllis Ann Broussard (Ernie) of Prairieville, LA, Angelo James Arambula (Brenda) of Kennesaw, GA, Frank Joseph Arambula (Judy) La Verne, CA and Timothy Ferdinand Arambula, Campbell, CA.  She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Angelo Joseph Arambula; her parents, Concepcion Lopez and Maria Inocencia Alvarado Lopez; brothers, Valentine, Gregory and Frank “Pancho”; and her sisters, Della and Evelyn.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, Fairmont City, IL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Harold Fisher O.M.I. officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
