Terry H Hunt

Terry H. Hunt, age 89, of Trenton, IL, born on July 24, 1935, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Terry served honorably in the United States Army.  He then joined the Ironworkers Local 392 in Fairmont City, IL and was a 70-year member.  Terry owned and operated TC Hunt Construction Company, along with his wife for 20 years.  He and his wife, Cora loved to travel and visit many areas in the United States. 

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Hunt; and his parents, Hooper and Elizabeth, nee Leaver Hunt.

Terry is survived by his wife, Cora, nee Tourville Hunt; his children, Terri (James) Rhoades of Breese, IL, Toni (Mike) Fuhler of Florida, Tina Kampwerth of St. Rose, IL, Wendy Holton of Aviston, IL, Bud (Tammy) Holton of Perryville, MO, and Jim Holton of Dallas, TX; 26 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Ray (Peggy) Hunt of Glen Carbon, IL and Jeannie Birdwell of Nashville, TN.

Memorials are preferred to Shriner’s Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
