Teresa Johnson Obituary

Teresa K. “Terri” Johnson, nee Bridges, age 68, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on January 15, 1953 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Terri worked as a secretary at Gundlach and for Kelly Temporary Services, in addition to serving as a substitute teacher in area schools. She was a 1971 graduate of Belleville East High School, received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from SIUE in 1981, and her MBA from SIUE in 1991.  Terri was a member and Elder at First United Presbyterian Church, Belleville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Doug Bridges.

Terri is survived by her husband, William M. “Bill” Johnson; her parents, Tom and Inez, nee Lamb Bridges; her sister-in-law, Paula Bridges, nee White; her nephews, Michael Bridges (Patty Tippett), Patrick Bridges, and Christopher Bridges; and many other nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to First United Presbyterian Church Needs Among Us Program, Belleville, IL.

A private family visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
