Sunday Marie Leezy

Sunday M. Leezy, age 46, of Collinsville, IL, born on December 3, 1977, in Maryville, IL, died on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Sunday was a insurance agent.  She loved to read, especially “Chicken Soup” books, scrapbooking and working on other crafts.  She was a very generous person with a very beautiful smile.  Sunday was a loving mother and daughter, and she will be missed very much.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Behrends; and her grandparents.

Sunday is survived by her son, Jeffery Schardan; her mother Barbara Leezy, aunts and uncles, and many loving cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at True Worship Church, 701 W. Lincoln Ave., Caseyville, IL.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at True Worship Church, 701 W. Lincoln St., Caseyville, IL, with Pastor Henry Lewis, Jr. officiating.  Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
