Steven A. Maliszewski

Steven A. Maliszewski, age 71, of Fairview Heights, IL, formerly of Fairmont City, IL, born on April 13, 1953, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.

Steven was a sales association for many years with Wal-Mart in Glen Carbon, IL. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1712 in Collinsville, IL.

Steven was preceded in death by his wife, Susan W. Maliszewski, nee Headrick; and his parents, Bernard and Frances, nee Pusateri Maliszewski.

He is survived by his daughter, Martha (Matthew) Peck of Fairview Heights, IL; his granddaughter, Abigail Peck; his siblings, Bernard “Ben” (Denise) Maliszewski of Glen Carbon, IL and Sue (Keith) Scobbie of Glen Carbon, IL and his sister-in-law, Elaine Romine of Bunker Hill, IL. Steven is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Memorials are preferred to Hoyleton Youth and Family Services of Fairview Heights, IL.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

A roadside committal service will be at 1:45 p.m. on Monday, January 6, 2025, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
