Our beloved and precious, Shirley J. “Candy” Hoopes, age 74, of Granite City, IL, born on April 25, 1945 in St. Louis, MO, died on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Jennie, nee Gryzb, Faraci.
Shirley is survived her sister, Josephine A. (Mark) Freer of Alton, IL.
Donations may be made to Illinois Center for Autism, 3231 Nameoki Rd, Granite City, IL 62040.
Per Shirley’s wishes, private services will be held.
