Shannon Michael Foley

Shannon Michael Foley, age 51, of Caseyville, born on November 11, 1974, died at his home on December 18, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Shannon (20) and Dana (17) were married on July 21, 1995. He was the Business Manager of OPCM Local 90 after working in the field as a cement mason. He was a loyal family man with a huge heart who would help and do anything for everyone. He loved his pets, nature, being outdoors, the Black River, traveling, the St. Louis Blues, gardening, music, cooking and eating. He was always ready for an adventure. But above all, Shannon enjoyed spending his time with his loving family. We will miss Shannon as he was a great man.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Foley; and his father-in-law, Kenneth Lutz, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Dana, nee Lutz, Foley; his children, Brandon Michael, Daniel Lee, Tyler Dane, Shana Marcellina, and Jenna Marie Foley; his mother, Sharon Foley; his mother-in-law, Donna Lutz; his brothers, Sean (Shannon Carroll) Foley, Jason (Jill) Foley and their children, Connor and Kylie Foley, Randy (Christi) Cook and their daughter, Kaylee Cook; his brother-in-law, Kenny  (Jodi) Lutz, Jr., and their children, Kenny III, Cody, Kayden, and Ellie Lutz.

Memorials can be made to the family, Metro East Humane Society, or Habitat for Humanity.

A funeral procession will leave Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 10:15 a.m., for a 10:30 a.m. graveside service at Caseyville City Cemetery, Caseyville, IL. Immediately after the graveside service, family and friends are invited to a celebration of Shannon’s life until 5:00 p.m. at the Caseyville VFW, 415 N. Long St., Caseyville, IL.
