Scott Stewart Obituary

Scott R. “Scooter” Stewart, age 57, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on July 9, 1963 in Illinois, died on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at his residence.

Scott was an auto mechanic for Mark II Tune-Up, Inc. for the past 36 years. He was a longtime volunteer with Midwest Salute to the Arts, board member and longtime President of the Illinois Wildlife Federation, Edwardsville Chapter. Scott loved racing cars at Gateway National Raceway

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale W. and Jeanne P. nee Pryor, Stewart.

He is survived his cousins, David Stewart, James Stewart, and Barbara Severson, his dear friend, Shawn Hunt; and his bonus children, Shannon Hunt and Amie Lynn Hunt (Michael Spangler). Scott leaves behind a family of loving friends.
