Ruthann Skidmore, nee Ford, age 83, of Collinsville, IL, born on September 14, 1937 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at her residence.
Ruthann was a salesperson for Avon for 25 years and was also the manager of Hy-Ho Restaurant in Belleville, IL for over ten years. She loved to play bingo at the Knights of Columbus on Thursday mornings.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis G. Skidmore; her parents, Clifton H. and Erma E., nee Gansert, Ford; two great grandchildren, Breanna Perry and Michael Perry; and her granddaughter Amber's husband, Tim Bollin.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (David) Hartwig of Collinsville, Il; Julie (Larry) Kubicek of Ravenna, MI; and Donna (Mark Willis) Perry of Caseyville, IL; six grandchildren, Stephanie (Chet) Hartwig Fetter, Nicole (Devon) Hartwig Durkee, Amber Bollin, Ashley Kubicek, Brian Perry, and Deanna Perry; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; her dear friends, Betty Legeer, Jo and Roger Fox; and her Pug, Muggs.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL. Burial of cremated remains will be at St. Clair Memorial Park, Fairview Heights, IL.
