Rubie May Jackson

Rubie May Jackson, age 93, of Belleville, IL, born on February 16, 1932, in Bardwell, KY, died on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Bria of Mascoutah, IL.

Rubie was a parts clerk with the United States Army Depot in Granite City, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred R. Jackson, Jr; her daughter, Betty Jones; her son, Fred R. Jackson, Jr; and her parents, William “Elmer” and Mary, nee Marshall Riley.

Rubie is survived by her children: Sheila Phillips, Thomas (Myra) Schwann, Cynthia (Claude) Ramsey, Sandra Jackson, Jane (Phillip) Cruse, and Joe (Fielding) Jackson.  She is also survived by many loving and cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL. 

Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
