Ross "Bob" Sprague

Ross “Bob” Sprague, age 87, of Collinsville, IL, born on July 31, 1937, in Swansea, IL, passed from this life, Thursday, November 14, 2024.

Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran and honorably discharged in 1959. He retired as a HVAC technician and appliance repairman. “Bob could fix anything!!!” He loved playing golf with his buddies and was great at putting that little white ball.  He loved spending time with family and friends.  Bob especially enjoyed his time bumming around with Marietta.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Maude, nee Maples Sprague; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.

Left to cherish many fond memories are his beloved wife, Marietta Sprague; his sons, Frank Sprague and Kelly Sprague; his loving grandchildren, great grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren; and a host of devoted friends.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

A Private graveside service will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
