Rose Parks

Rose Parks, age 70, of Belleville, IL, born on February 12, 1955, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at her residence.

Rose was a devoted mother; she dedicated her life to caring for her children and animals until the day of her death. In her free time, she loved going to the casino to play the slots and playing bingo with her daughter. If you knew Rose, you would know how much she loved her Dr. Pepper, listening to Elvis and Betty Boop, but most of all she loved God. She was a proud and devoted member of Faith Baptist Church in Belleville and loved to spread the word of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Parks Sr.; her parents, Charles and Rose (Gabriel) Crepps; her siblings, Frank “Busy” Gabriel, Michael Gabriel, Thomas Gabriel, Larry Gabriel, Jack Gabriel, and Patricia Gabriel.

Rose is survived by her children, Dennis (Carmella) Parks Jr, Jason Parks, Joshua (Stacy Kettler) Parks, and Kimberly Langdon; her grandchildren, Holly King, Heidi King, Olivia Parks, Raymond Parks, Waylon Parks, Judy Parks, Zoey Parks, Christopher Parks, Chase Langdon, Maddie Langdon, Bella Langdon, and Mia Langdon; and her sister, Ann Wells.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary., Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL.

Memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Interment will follow on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
