Ronald Lee Brown, age, 88, born February 28, 1937, to the late Ira L. and Vera (Rose) Brown, passed away on August 17, 2025, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO, a month after injuries sustained in a fall.
Ronald graduated from East St. Louis Senior High School and went on to serve in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany as a Morse Code operator. Ronald was an avid race car enthusiast, racing a 1968 Camaro at Gateway International Raceway throughout the 70’s. He liked to collect coins and spend hours sifting through coins to add to his collection. Ronald liked to fish and take his metal detector out and look for treasure. He had a special passion for bowling and had quite a talent for it. He was always working in his garage and was the “fix-it" man for everything. In 2014, he retired from Essex Industries in St. Louis, MO. On November 19, 1980, he married his wife, Terrie (Price) Brown, and together they raised a blended family. Though he slowed down in the last few years, he still enjoyed sitting in his recliner watching tv, especially the St. Louis Cardinals, with his faithful dog, Rudy by his side.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Chana Estabrook.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Terrie Brown, his children, Rhonda (Wayne) Elmore, Tracy (David) May, Robert (Beth) Dalluge, and Danny (Robin) Sullivan; 20 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren.
