Rodolpho "Rudy" Navarro

Born Rodolpho “Rudy” Navarro on January 27, 1933, in Fairmont City, IL, but would go by Rudy all of his life. 

Rudy proudly served in the United States Navy and stationed in Japan, and he loved to talk about it  anytime.  After the Navy, he would go on to work and later retire from General Motors in St. Louis, MO. Although he never truly retired, he was a handyman for whomever needed one.  He could do just about anything.  Rudy and Jane would travel to South Texas for years and were snowbirds.  Rudy loved fishing, camping, and later he took up golfing.  He adored his wife, his family and was blessed with a long, wonderful life.  Rudy will forever be missed.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Rudy Navarro, Jr and James Tottleben; his daughter, Debra Hernandez; his parents, Jesus and Carmen Navarro; his siblings, Lupe Artega, Mary Vega, and Beatrice Carbaugh.

Rudy is survived by his wife, Jane Navarro, nee Howat; his children, Rebecca (Joe) Weldon, Dawn (Tom) Suarez; his grandchildren, Brittney Shamalian, Alexandra (Luke Marshall) Weldon, Shane Navarro, and Joey Suarez; his great granddaughter, Marianna Navarro; and his brothers, Fred (Regina) Navarro, Michael Navarro, John (Pat) Navarro; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Services and Interment with military honors will be private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
