Roberta Sue "Bobbie" Pearson Obituary

In loving memory of Roberta S. Pearson, nee Todd, born on September 17, 1950, in Missouri passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 75 in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Roberta known to all as Bobbie, was the youngest daughter of nine children to Donald L. Todd and Mary E. Carol, both deceased as well as Elizabeth Todd, her stepmother. Her siblings are Carol Ann, Charlene, Sandy, Susan, Donna, Mike, Edward, and Tom.

Bobbie, was the loving wife of George E. Pearson Sr. who passed away in August 2004, and beloved mother of two sons, Thomas F. Pearson, age 57 and George E. Pearson, II age 54.

Bobbie loved helping others throughout her life, as well as discovering a passion for the medical field where she spent much of her later years working. Bobbie received her associates degree in the medical field along with several certificates of honor and achievements from Sanford Brown College where she met her bestie Rachel forming a close, lifelong friendship.

Bobbie patented a medical table that attaches to the bed and pursued creative ways to help others. Whether it was using encouraging words to inspire or just listening in someone's time of need. Bobbie always made herself available no matter the time of day while balancing work and devotion to God and family.

She is survived by her brothers, Mike (Lois) Todd, Tom (Sherrie) Todd; and her sisters, Carol Ann (John) Zander, Charlene (Mike) Rancillio, and Sandy Wilmering "Todd".

She is also survived by her sons,  Thomas F. (Rhonda) Pearson and George Pearson; Julie Pearson, the mother of George's Children. Her grandchildren, Matt (Danielle) Pearson,  Kelley (Steve) Collins, Britney O'Brien (Tyler) "Pearson", Kirsten (Chauncey) Austin "Pearson", Emily (Jarrod) Bragg "Pearson", and Elijah Pearson; her great-grandchildren, Hayden, Harper, Hazel, Coraline and Lilith.

Bobbie's love, joy, kindness, and friendship will be missed but never forgotten. A special thanks to all who helped Bobbie in her final days. She knew she was surrounded by love.
