Robert J. "Bob" Alexander

Robert J. “Bob” Alexander, age 66, of Fairview Heights, IL, formerly of Louisiana, MO, born on September 17, 1954, in Cairo, IL, died on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at his residence.

Bob was a United States Vietnam Army Veteran, an operator at Wayne B. Smith, Inc., in Louisiana, MO, and was a former electrician with Hunter Packing in National City, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Martha “Ann”, nee Wallis Alexander; and the love of his life, Shannon Ahart Strieker.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Angela Alexander (Jeremy Lucas), and Bobbi Jo Alexander; his 5 grandchildren, Brooke, Hailey, Cayne, Taylor, and Shyanne; 2 great-grandchildren; his former wife, Pamela Moore; and his faithful companion and buddy, “Chaz”.

Donations are preferred to the family for funeral expenses and will be accepted at the mortuary.

A Graveside Service with military honors will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
