I've been knowing him since 1979, that was the first time I met him, when I start working at Kinder's day and night market in 1980, he use to stop in and get his cigarettes that's when I really got to know him, he was a very nice, and a funny guy, it was a pleasure to know such a very nice guy, I never heard him say anything bad about anybody, BOB YOU'LL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, REST IN PARADISE

I have not seen Bob since we graduated from Mizzou, but he came to mind yesterday on what I see was his birthday! Those happenstances just don't seem to have earthly explanations, so I will write something here. I was so sad to see that he passed away a few weeks ago. Bob and I walked and talked together regularly after a political science class, sat on the Quad, and attended some of the same parties. He was one of my favorite people at school: "low key" but always honest, warm, and great to talk to. I am happy to see that he has four daughters, as I believe he would have been a great dad to girls. Of course you all miss him terribly, and I am sorry you lost him so young. Sending condolences to your entire family. May Bob's love for each of you, and your memories, give you comfort.

John Lennon, the Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Mizzou Football games & after parties, a brotherhood of friends, Eddie Murphy, fuzz ball, beautiful Connie, four lovely daughters, a career of service to his community and country…these are what I think of when I remember Bob. Even though time and distance got in the way, I will always think of Bob as a kind man and a special friend. I am so very sorry for your loss.
