Rickey C. Bingheim, age 77, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on October 10, 1948, in Belleville, IL, died on Monday, January 19, 2026, at his residence.
Rickey was a United States Marie Corps Vietnam Veteran, and a former warehouseman at GlaxoSmithKline/TUMS, in St. Louis, MO. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church and later Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Rickey was a member of Holy Trinity Men’s Club, Thursday Crew and Rickey was part of the “Three Amigos” with Dan Rahn and Tom Prott.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Marie, nee Recker Bingheim; his siblings, John Bingheim, Patricia Henderson, Walter Bingheim, Bonnie Tucker, Ruth Ann Streif, Carol Simmons and Thomas, Agnes and Mary Bingheim all who died in infancy; his nephew; and a great niece.
Rickey is survived by his wife, Debbie Bingheim, nee Schilling; his step-sons, Scott (Lori) Miles of Maryville, IL, and Doug (Vickie) Miles of Maryland Heights, MO; his granddaughter, Lindsay Miles of Troy, IL; his sister-in-law, Rhonda (Dave) Hankammer of Millstadt, IL; and his brothers-in-law, Bruce (Chris) Schilling of Belleville, IL., and Tom Tucker. He was our loving uncle, great uncle and friend to many.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Holy Trinity Building Fund.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, IL.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Carl Schrage officiating.
