Rebecca “Becky” Jane Dill, age 73, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on January 10, 1951, in Menomonie, WI, died on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Lebanon Care Center, Lebanon, IL.
Becky owned a cleaning business for 30 years and was a homemaker. Becky cherished the time she was able to spend with her family and friends, especially her granddaughter Morgan. She enjoyed planting flowers and feeding birds in her backyard. Becky loved the beach and took great pride in rooting for her favorite sports teams; Cardinals (mainly Yadier Molina) and her Green Bay Packers, but her favorite thing to do was go to Morgan’s sporting events. She became a huge Kahok and JSU fan later in life. Her other hobbies consisted of going to auctions, reacquiring things from her childhood & collecting things she liked.
She was a great wife, mother & grandmother. She was the best cook & passed her, “food is love” on to her daughter & granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Max R. and Dorothy Rassbach Reed; her sister, Diane Brinkman; and her brother, Jerry Reed.
Becky is survived by her husband, John T. Dill; her daughter, Robin Lerch of Collinsville, IL; her son-in-law, Bradley Lerch of Collinsville, IL; her granddaughter, Morgan Lerch of Collinsville, IL; and her sister, Anne Telecky of Ritzville, WA.
A Celebration of Life for Becky will be held on November 10, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Old Herald located 115 E. Clay St, Collinsville, IL 62234.
