Anna Marie and Marlene, I extend my deepest sympathy to you and all your family on the untimely death of Pete. From all I've heard, he hadn't suffered an illness prior to his passing, but I don't know if that makes it any easier for his family. Pete and I shared the same group of friends in high school, but I haven't seen him since then.
Marlene, we haven't met, but I'm Geri Mertzke Bauer's cousin. I'm also in long-term recovery. I hope Pete's history provides additional serenity and pride in his memory.

Diane & I were passing by your house last Saturday when we saw all of the first responders at your home. We pulled over and prayed for your family for peace and comfort. We found out Sunday from your backyard neighbor, the Vickers ,that Pete had passed. We will continue to lift you up in prayer for God's peace to give you strength during this difficult ime.
