I have remembered Peggy Wisnesky since I met her when I was 15 years old. I was a neighborhood friend of her daughters', Debby, Sandra and Jeane. In those years, even though the family was tragically burdened by the unbearable sadness of Sandra's illness, I remember being awed by Peggy's example of fortitude and motherly love. In spite of all she must have been coping with, she still had enough to be kind to me. To this day, I still treasure a simple verse she wrote just for me: "a cute little tyke, on her ten-speed bike..." Debby, my old friend, I'm so sorry for your loss, Marilyn (Uhley) Rotunno
