Obituary

Patrick G. Guest, age 82, of Washington Park, IL, born on January 8, 1940, in St. Louis, MO, died on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at his residence.

Patrick was a United States Marine Corp Veteran.  He later was an inventory supervisor for Sigma Chemical for 28 years.  He was a 3rd degree member of Knights of Columbus Council #6996, and he loved all things Irish. Patrick was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be sadly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara A. Guest; a son in infancy, Patrick James Guest; his daughter, Cheryl Ann Johnson; his brother, Robert Guest; and his sister, Patricia Bitzel.

Patrick is survived by his daughters, Colleen Guest of Washington Park, IL, and Cris (Eric) Stacy of Granite City, IL; 5 grandchildren, Angelina (Jason) Davis, Sabrina Johnson, Eric Stacy, Jr., Ryan Stacy, and Evan Monti Stacy; and 4 great-grandchildren, Logan, Isabella, Avalyn and Amaiya.

Memorials may be made Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, IL.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

A procession will leave Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL  at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, IL, with Fr. Jim Nall officiating.  Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
