Patricia Ann Sronce

Patricia Ann Sronce, nee Marion, age 91, of Highland, IL, born on October 3, 1930, in Springfield, IL, died on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Patricia was a former inspector at Belleville Shoe Company in Belleville, IL, a former member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 437, in Springfield, IL.  She loved to embroider, read, watch old western movies, especially John Wayne and Gene Autry.  Patricia was big hearted and always did for others, hosting and cooking family get togethers and holidays.  She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James I. Sronce; her son, Larry Morris; her daughter, Yvonne “Yoggie” Sronce; her great granddaughter Zalest Sronce; her parents, William H. and Mary Ellen, nee Mahoney Marion; her siblings, Violet DeSoto, Frances Bond, Molly Sturgis, Robert Marion, Theodore Marion, Edward Marion, and Jerry Marion; and sons-in-law, Joe Gamboa and Lonnie Shoemaker.

Patricia is survived by her children, Karen Gamboa of Highland, IL, James (Angie) Sronce of Highland, IL, Gary (Donna) Crompton of Florida, Janet Shoemaker of Missouri, and Brenda Bell (Lois Miller) of Springfield, IL; her grandchildren, April (Mike) Len, Brandy Marshall, Joshua (Christine) Gamboa, Jeremiah Gamboa (Brooke Jones), Matt (Sarah) Jones, Zachary (Kortnie) Sronce, Jason (Alicia) Crompton, Eric Crompton, and Carolyn (Spencer) Shipley; her great grandchildren, Joey, Michael (Brianna), Laci, Lexi, Drake, Scarlet, Aurora, Zane, Nathan, Jorie, Jordynn, Caleb, Brioney, Bryson, Aiden, Indira and Avonlea; her great great-granddaughters, Iris and Delilah; her siblings, Barbara Seward, Mary Ellen Clemons, Peggy Miller, and Theresa Smith.  She is also survived by her special, loving and caring nephew, Robert Wheeler of Katy, TX.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.  Cremation will follow services.
