Patricia J. "Sally" Barboza

Patricia J. “Sally” Barboza, age 77, of Fairmont City, IL, born on January 1, 1948, in St. Louis, MO, died on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in Alton, IL.

Sally was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, friend and sister.  She was active in her parish at Holy Rosary and in her community of Fairmont City.  Sally took pride in herself in always staying busy with volunteering and was ready to help wherever she could.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernabe “Barney” Barboza; her mother, Rosemary Reeg; her siblings, Mae “Cookie” Birmingham, Steve Huebner, Floyd Huebner, and Larry Huebner.

Sally is survived by her children, Tony (Tara) Barboza of Wood River, IL and Jimmy (Amy) Barboza, of Bethalto, IL; her grandchildren, Devon Barboza, Alex Barboza, and Jacob Barboza; and her siblings, Mary Ann (Eddie) Dallam, Alvin Huebner, Brenda Taylor; Debbie (Mike) Millaway, Nancy Huebner, Dorothy Pound, Elmer Huebner and Robin Huebner.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights at with Fr. James Buerster officiating.
