Patricia “Patty” Quam, age 71, of Belleville, IL, born on March 15, 1952, in Tacloban City, Philippines, died on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.

Patty was born in the Phillipines and later came to live with her sister, Cristina, in the last years of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix Basas and Gelierma Resma; her stepmother, Otilla Tarede Basas; her brother, Baraulio “Boy” Basas; and her niece, Marivic Basas.

Patty is survived by her sisters, Cristina (Tim) Ferrenbach of Belleville, IL and Beatriz Cayton of Angeles City, Phillipines; her nieces and nephews, Angela (Eric) Wester, Marlon Baylon, Mike Ferrenbach, Marilou Brink, Rhoda Cayton, Richard Cayton, Ronald Cayton, and Robert Cayton. Patty is also survived by loving great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Cremation will follow service.
