Patricia Lambert, age 94, of Nashville, IL, formerly of O’Fallon, IL, born on August 25, 1928, in Detroit, MI., died on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Friendship Manor Healthcare Center, Nashville, IL.
Pat was a former editor for the local TV Guide in St. Louis MO; a writer for the O’Fallon Progress Newspaper; O’Fallon City Councilwoman and owned and operated Pat’s Embroidery and Sew in O’Fallon, IL from 1982 until 2017. Pat won several awards for her embroidery designs and work, and was awarded a trip to Paris, France for an annual conference. She loved to paint, draw and plant her flowering rose garden at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Edward Lambert; her daughter, Linda Reynolds; her parents, Frank and Marie, nee Bradach Horine; and her brothers, Mike Horine and Patric Horine.
Pat is survived by her children, Frank (Sharon) Reynolds, Gary (Karen) Reynolds, and Lannie (Jim) Read; her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Donnie Horine of Mascoutah, IL, and Betty Horine of Belleville, IL.
Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL, with Pastor Hal Santos officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
