Michael J. Wegrzyn

Michael J. Wegrzyn, age 56, of Edwardsville, IL, born on December 8, 1964 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Monday, April 19, 2021 in St. Louis, MO.

Mike was a Maintenance Mechanic at Vi-Joh in St. Louis, MO.  He was a devoted husband and loving father to Ian and Brennan, they were his pride and joy.  Mike enjoyed golfing, traveling, camping, barbequing, and was a huge sports fan.  He was always the life of the party, and if there was not a party, he would make one.   

He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Dorothy, nee Sasak Wegrzyn, Sr., and his father-in-law, Richard Rader.

Mike is survived by his wife, Cheryl Wegrzyn; his sons, Ian McAtee of Edwardsville, IL and LCpl Brennan McAtee, USMC of San Diego, CA; his siblings, Lois Hollenbach of Granite City, IL and Steve M. Wegrzyn, Jr., of Washington Park, IL; his nephews, Joey Alvarado, AJ Jalinsky and Nick Jalinsky; his niece Angie Losfeld; his great-niece, Juliette Losfeld; his mother-in-law, Melissa Rader of Collinsville, IL; and his sister-in-law, Chrissy (Richard) Cromer of Collinsville, IL

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
