Michael J. Pasterski

Michael J. Pasterski, age 66, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on September 15, 1955, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Mike was a photographer for Trotter Photo, in St. Louis, MO.

Mike could effortlessly charm any person in any circumstance. He loved animals and his many (too many?) guitars, but more than anything he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was quick to have fun and make jokes, and his laugh was as unique and charming as his personality. He will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Isabelle, nee Egan Pasterski; his sisters, Louise Pasterski and Patricia Dreas; and a brother, Larry Pasterski.

Michael is survived by his wife, Karen Pasterski, nee Carson; his children, Jamie L. Hoffmann (Louis Gedda), and M. Joseph “Joey” Pasterski (Maya Ruiz-Stanbary); his brother, Dr. Thomas (Adriana Peterson) Pasterski; his niece, Kelly Carson; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
