Michael Alexander

Michael A. Alexander, age 61, of Edwardsville, IL, born on August 4, 1959 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Monday, April 12, 2021.

Michael was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.  He was a beautiful soul and will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Wanda Lee, nee Alexander Vogler; his brother, Henry Thomas Vogler; and two sisters, Agnes Darlene Vogler and Dorothy Kite.

Michael is survived by his sons, Michael, Joshua and Christopher; his four granddaughters; his siblings, Alice Tatum, Maggie Lemansky, Wilma DeLoeney-Pena, Peggy Rader, Julie Vogler, Tina (Jerry) Boykin, Charles Vogler, Theresa Hooker, Thomas (Tamela) Vogler, Rose Marie (Bobby) Vogler, John Vogler, Bernadette (Henry) McBride and Wanda (Richard) Merrifield. Michael is also survived by 8 Kite cousins; special nieces, Jerri, Meka, Jill; a special nephew, Tony Morehead; and a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL with Fr. Stan Konieczny officiating.  Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
