Mary Ellen Brown

Mary Ellen Brown, age 74, of Fairmont City, IL, born on October 19, 1948, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

She graduated from Saint Teresa Academy in 1966. The following year she married the love of her life which made Mary a domestic engineer “housewife” raising three great children along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She will be sincerely missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Della, nee Lopez, Cisneros; her brother, Alex Cisneros; and her sisters, Margaret (Paz), Virginia (Susie Duckworth), Mary and Kathleen Cisneros.

Mary Ellen is survived by her husband, Gerald Brown; her children, Donna Brown, Gerald E. Brown Jr., and Christopher (Lana) Brown; her grandchildren Gerald (Angelica) Pacheco, Natalie (Scott) Becera, Caleb and Caden Brown; her great grandchildren Argie and Garie Pacheco; and her siblings John Cisneros, Robert Cisneros, Frances (Carl) Gomez, and Elvera Simmons.

Funeral Service will be private.
