Mary L. Demetrulias

Mary L. Demetrulias, age 92, of Collinsville, IL, born on August 28, 1931, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Mary retired as a Service Representative for the Social Security Administration. She loved to travel and was a devoted St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan, never missing a game. She was our beloved mother, aunt, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Loretto (nee Durney) Stanley; and her siblings, Carletta Taylor, Muriel Hartl, John Stanley and William Stanley.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Karol (Ron) Mueller, Stavra (Steven) Ketchmark and Laurie (Tom) Powell; her grandchildren, Christina Mueller Taylor, Graham Ketchmark, Amber Gongidi, and Burt Powell; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Per Mary's wishes, a private cremation was held and no further services are planned.
