Martha J. Bramble

Martha J. Bramble, age 82, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on October 7, 1941, in Jackson, GA, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, at The Colonnade Senior Living in O’Fallon, IL.

She was born in Jackson, GA, to Rev. Walter H. Boswell and Vivian Blackburn. Martha lived in the states of Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, Indiana, and Illinois. She graduated from David H. Hickman High School in Columbia, MO, in 1959.  Martha then attended Olivet Nazarene University 

before joining Public Service Indiana as an Executive Secretary.

On September 21, 1968, she married Arthur W. Bramble in Rensselaer, IN They were blessed with a son, Bradley W. Bramble. During the years, Martha was active in her church, often singing solos, assisting with Bible School and Sunday School classes. 

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Walter H. and Vivian, nee Blackburn Boswell; and her brother, Kenneth Boswell.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Arthur W. Bramble; her son, Bradley W. (Cristiane) Bramble of O’Fallon, IL; and two grandchildren, Patrick Bramble and Claire Bramble.

A funeral procession will leave from Kassly Mortuary.Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. for a graveside service at 9:45 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
