Mark A. DeHart

Mark Allen DeHart, age 64, of Caseyville, IL, born on June 25, 1959, in Belleville, IL, died on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Shiloh, IL.

Mark and his wife Brenda loved camping, pool leagues, bluegrass and country music.  He especially loved spending time with his family. Mark loved and was loved by so many people and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by wife, Brenda M. DeHart, nee Wiese; his parents, Carroll and Dixie, nee Gasaway DeHart; and his siblings, Michael DeHart, Brian DeHart, and Missy DeHart.

Mark is survived by his children, Renee Lynd of Belleville, IL, Brandi Staroba (Sam Randall) of Collinsville, IL, Brittany DeHart (Jason Seibel) of Swansea, IL, Todd DeHart (Lindzie Littlefield) of Caseyville, IL, Amber DeHart (Devin Johnson) of Collinsville, IL, and Heather Barthel of Cahokia, IL; 16 grandchildren, Kyle (Tristan Evans), Kage, and Korey Nichols, Codie and Connor Lynd, Madilynn and Makenna Kress, Hendrix, Vaughn, Makya, Tyson and Rocky Seibel; Michael Tongay, MaeLeigh and Morgan DeHart, and Axel Johnson; 3 great grandchildren, Kynsleigh and Kayden Nichols, and Castan Cheeseman; his sisters; Debbie (Gary) Smith of St. Libory, IL, and Sandy Wagner of O’Fallon, IL; and his sister-in-law, Judy DeHart of Belleville, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Jacks Place in Caseyville, IL on January 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
